"Birth of the Cool" is an album that collects the twelve sides recorded by the Miles Davis nonet (featuring Gerry Mulligan, Lee Konitz and others) for Capitol Records in 1949 and 1950. Seattle
In Seattle visiting daughter and grandchildren. Our dog and the kids have a love affair going. Another day here tomorrow, then on to Port Angeles to visit my cousin John.
