"Birth of the Cool" is an album that collects the twelve sides recorded by the Miles Davis nonet (featuring Gerry Mulligan, Lee Konitz and others) for Capitol Records in 1949 and 1950. Loving Grayson
Alan Grayson is my current number one hero. Apparently, his courage is being recognized world-wide. Check this out from the Brits.
