"Birth of the Cool" is an album that collects the twelve sides recorded by the Miles Davis nonet (featuring Gerry Mulligan, Lee Konitz and others) for Capitol Records in 1949 and 1950. Obamanomics has produced the worst recovery since wwii with gdp growth of 1.5%, which is a far cry from some of the 7% gdp numbers of trickle down economics. The current real unemployment including the lousy participation is around 12%. I think most Americans would find that wanting.
Things really go down hill when a president, an administration, a party use the supposed impartial depts. of govt. to intimidate and punish political opponents. Nixon was reviled for this, yet he used the IRS against big boys who had the where with all to defend themselves. Obama's administration, Democrat senators and now most conspiculusly Dem. Rep Cummings has conspired with Lois Learner, of the IRS, against conservative groups for the purposes of intimidation and squelching conservative turnout. Hopefully, Learner and Cummings go to jail along with any higher ups who are involved.
