Toles’ weighty observations

As those of you who read this blog know, one of my biggest political fears is voter suppression.  I wrote about it here, and my friend Michael added a timely comment to that post.  Believe me folks it’s real, and worse, it’s very effective.

Toles summed it up oh so effectively today:

Voter fraud is more of a problem than suppression. Any legal citizen can vote. The problem has been that many dead and illegals are allowed to vote. Kennedy probably should have lost the 1960 election. Nixon did not contest out of patriotism. Al Gore, not so much. Cook county's multiple dead voted for our first Irish Catholic president. I would have too, if I had been of age.
